April 28, 2024
The finale concert of our 50th Season will feature a new 15-minute commission for choir, organ, and strings by Worcester-based composer Leonardo Ciampa featuring texts reflective of the Worcester community. Alongside this work, we will perform several pieces that reflect the history of Salisbury Singers and other composers of the Worcester community. We will also take requests from the chorus to have a section of pieces of “Salisbury Singers” favorites that we can prepare together!
- Leonardo Ciampa: The Worcester Cantata Commission for Choir, Strings, Organ, and Soloists
- Cassius Clement-Stearns: Mass in A or Vespers in G
- Gwyneth Walker: All Things Wonderful and The Road to Freedom (Salisbury Singers Commissions)
- Robakiewicz: Air, Fire, & Earth from Elements of Love and Death
- Golijov: Selected Work for Strings
- Choir Favorites:
- Parker: Hark! I hear the harps eternal
- Kirchner: I’ll Be On My Way
