SONGS
OF WAR AND PEACE

Salisbury Singers presents a concert of wartime
remembrances and longings for peace this Veterans
Day weekend. The concert will feature Randall
Thompson’s Testament of Freedom
and his famous Alleluia, as well as a
new work by Todd Milam, A Civil War Fantasy,
with brass and percussion. Other music associated
with times of conflict and peace will complete
a program both stirring and uplifting.

CHORAL TREASURES OF LATIN AMERICA

Salisbury Singers goes south of
the border with an exciting program including
one of the most popular works of the Latin American
choral repertoire, Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez's
Misa Criolla. Since its composition, the
Misa has been a showpiece for choirs
around the world. Ramírez has created a
work at once spiritually exalting and deeply rooted
in the folk idiom of his people. Other choral
treasures from the Latin American repertoire will
offer infectious rhythms and haunting melodies.
A portion of the proceeds from
the Worcester performance will benefit the Latino
Education Institute at Worcester
State College.
BROADWAY
CABARET
Join the Salisbury Singers for a fun evening of
your favorite Broadway show tunes. Soloists and
small ensembles as well as the full chorus will
perform in a Cabaret setting with refreshments
and silent auction.

PERFORMANCES
This season, Salisbury Singers also will perform
for the alumni of St. Stephen’s School on
Sunday, October 21 and will join the Thayer Symphony
Orchestra for its Holiday Pops at the Dukakis
Performing Arts Center, Fitchburg, 8 p.m. on Saturday,
December 15. Watch for ticket information for
