Salisbury Singers explores England’s grand choral tradition with “The British Are Coming!” This all-British program will spotlight the music of William Walton and Benjamin Britten. No other country has such a rich choral heritage as Great Britain, with its ringing sounds, rich harmonies and majestic organ accompaniments. Many Americans have been exposed to this thrilling music tradition through the broadcasts of English royal events such as royal weddings, funerals and jubilees. The Salisbury Singers will be joined by the Worcester Children’s Chorus, conducted by Jennifer Kane, with guest organist William Ness.
